5 Things You Didn’t Know About Hon Ssegirinya’s Life

Kawempe North member of parliament Hon Ssegirinya Muhammad was laid to rest yesterday at his ancestral home in Masaka. But there are 5 things you didn’t know about his life.

The politician struggled with different sickness for a long period of time. It worsened after he was arrested on suspicions of murder alongside his fellow MP Hon Allan Ssewanyana of Makindye.

Before Ssegirinya became a member of parliament, he went through so much and was contesting on different positions to attest lead his people.

By the time he won he got sick and unfortunately he hasn’t even managed to finish his term as the member of parliament and hasn’t even done anything for the people that voted him to represent them.

Here are the 5 things you didn’t know about Hon Ssegirinya’s life:

The Kawempe North MP didn’t know how to drive a car. One of his close friends and employee said that he didn’t learn how to drive in the time he was on earth and on top of that he bought a car at an old age when he was busy with other things in life.

Ssegirinya at the same time didn’t know how to ride a motorcycle which is one of the things that atleast someone has to know. They said that he was always scared of things like those and that is why he liked being ridden.

It is also said that the member of parliament used to move with a mechanic in his car because all the cars he bought were second hand and they always had a breakdown. To avoid sleeping on the road he moved with a mechanic.

Hon Ssegirinya also wore big jackets and trousers to carry his 5 phones that he used to call on different radio stations throughout the day to air out the problems affecting Ugandans and how to resolve them.
