That number is almost double what the Resident Evil 4 remake achieved at launch.
Developed and published by Capcom, the new title takes players back to the dark streets of Raccoon City.

Early reviews have been strong. The game holds a PS5 Metacritic score of 89, with critics praising its tense atmosphere and smooth gameplay.
Even on day two, player numbers stayed above 340,000.
With a record breaking debut and solid reviews, Resident Evil Requiem has once again proved that this horror franchise still has serious power.
