Ugandan rapper Fik Fameica has publicly refuted claims made by fellow musician Pallaso regarding his role in Fameica’s rise to stardom. In recent interviews, Pallaso has repeatedly stated that he discovered Fik Fameica, picked him from the ghettos of Kawempe, introduced him to music, and even supported him financially at the start of his career.

However, in a candid interview with a local television station, Fik Fameica dismissed these assertions, stating, “Pallaso lied to you. He has never contributed anything to my journey. He just supported me as a fan, but nothing more than that. He is just my fan, nothing more.” Fameica emphasized that his success is self-made, highlighting that his very first studio session resulted in the hit song “Pistol.”
