Renowned musician and songwriter Fyno, best known for his hit song “Che Che,” has officially announced his decision to stop writing songs for other artists. In a candid interview with a local television station, Fyno expressed his frustration with the industry, citing a lack of appreciation and gratitude from many of the artists he has worked with.

Fyno revealed that despite contributing to multiple hit songs, he often felt undervalued and taken for granted. “I have written songs for different people, and most of them have become hits, but few appreciate what I do,” he stated. “I have since given up on writing for other artists and am now focused solely on my own music. I will only write for friends.”

The artist also disclosed that he has significantly increased his songwriting fees, now charging between five to ten million Uganda shillings per song. This move, he says, is meant to deter opportunistic artists who only seek him out when they need a hit track.

Fyno’s decision marks a major shift in his career, signaling his full dedication to his personal music journey. With his songwriting skills now reserved for select individuals, fans eagerly anticipate what he has in store as he focuses on his own projects.
