The 1st Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Rebecca Kadaga has welcomed with joy Dheyongera, aka “Japan,” the Ugandan Kickboxer who recently showcased talent in a fight against the Dutch super star, Cengiz Kaan Van Steen and conquered him.

The fight that took place last month on 31st August in Iganga at Ntinda Valley Resort, left the Dutch giant praising a selected combination of kicks that were presented to him by “Dheyongera” of Uganda.

On arrival before the fight, the Dutch Van said, “ This is my first time in Uganda and Africa. I am ready to rumble against the Ugandan and I will give my best foot forward.”

The Dutch opponent arrived in Uganda through Entebbe airport on Wednesday to attend the All Fight System Organization (AFSO) kickboxing battle, alongside the AFSO Africa president Ronald Mugula.

Dheyongera, aka “Japan,” finally won the AFSO kickboxing championship when he tussled against the Dutch’s Cengiz Kaan Van Steen.

This morning, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga Hosted the Championship kickboxer at Kingdom House in Kampala, as he presented to her his championship belt. Dheyongera, is however yet to travel to the Netherlands on the invitation of the same Van Steen, who requested the champion for a rematch. Dheyongera, has still promised to suppress the opponent in the rematch and come back to Uganda with victory.
