Ugandan singer Joan Namugerwa, popularly known as Jowy Landa, has firmly denied rumors suggesting a romantic relationship with fellow artist Vyroota. The speculation arose following their 2023 collaboration on the hit song “Twafuna,” which showcased undeniable chemistry between the two.
In a 2024 interview, Jowy Landa had hinted at the possibility of romance, stating, “Music binds Vyroota and me… Anything can happen because we are human.” However, she recently clarified on Sanyuka TV that their connection is strictly professional and musical.
Jowy emphasized that Vyroota does not fit her dating criteria, revealing, “I prefer men who are 30 years and above. Vyroota is still in his early 20s. He is young.” Despite both being in their 20s, she explained that she is attracted to men who are more mature, metaphorically referring to them as being “on the third floor.”
