Ugandan singing duo Kataleya and Kandle have made it clear that marriage is not currently a priority for them. Known for hit songs like “Tonafuya” and “Pain Killer,” the pair are focused on building their music careers and personal growth rather than settling down.

In an interview with Sanyuka TV, Kataleya (Hadijah Namakula) explained that she feels too young to consider marriage or motherhood. “When the right time comes, we shall both get married, because that is something every woman would want. But right now, I am even afraid of giving birth. I will give birth, but not now,” she said.

Her partner, Kandle (Rebecca Robins Nabatuusa), echoed similar sentiments, adding that she does not yet have the discipline required for marriage. Both singers remain committed to making their mark in Uganda’s music scene, with love, marriage, and children taking a backseat for the foreseeable future.
