Uganda will be holding general elections in 2026 and the list of celebrities joining active politics is increasing day by day.
Some are television presenters while the others are just artistes who are ready to go and represent their people especially those they have been helping just because they are in position of power.
It is not a guarantee that everyone who has interests will go ahead and contest when the time comes but there are those that have made it clear that they are interested unless they fail to go through.

Tuff B a television presenter at NBS television has made it clear that he is ready to represent the people of Makindye. He is a member of National Unity Platform but the competition their alone is intense.
Zambali Bulasiyo Mukusa is also ready for active politics and bad faith that people believe in him and he will obviously make it out. It is not clear wether he is in the ruling party or opposition or even independent.
Flavia Namulindwa former Bukedde television presenter came from America to join politics. Some people are saying that she was denied citizenship in the country that is they she is back but others are saying that it is purely political.
Nina Roz an artiste and also a big supporter of National Unity Platform (NUP) has also been said to have interests in the politics. She hasn’t announced publicly her intentions but every time she gets to speak publicly she always makes it clear that she is political,
