Ugandan chef Dorcus Basheba Kirabo alias Mama D takes her attempt to break the Guinness World Record of the Longest Cooking Marathon by an individual (Cookathon) seriously. And for now, she has so far cooked for 47 hours of cooking.

Remember, Mama D is aiming at making 192 hours, and it is worth noting that she attempted this same record last year in December 2023 but unfortunately, she was not announced the winner after a Ghanian chef broke her record before she was confirmed by Guinness World Records.

Mama D says that the dishes she cooks are recorded on a timely manner and the time she spends preparing any meal is also put down. So far, she has made more than 23 dishes. Among the those she has so far done, there are rice meals, fish dishes, chicken ones and others.

All the meals she makes are eaten on the spot by her fans and hype men, and the rest of the food is taken to feed the streets. She is doing this at High Note bar and grill located in Kireka, Kamuli road.s
