Ugandan singer Ava Peace has revealed that she spends more than $3,000 on beauty maintenance, describing the investment as part of how she takes care of her appearance and public image.
Speaking during an interview with NRG Radio Uganda, the singer opened up about her spending on makeup and skincare. Although she initially appeared hesitant to reveal the amount, she eventually disclosed that her beauty routine can cost her more than $3,000.
Ava Peace also revealed that she sometimes gets help from her brother, who works as a teacher in Thailand, to access some of the skincare products she uses.
“I have a brother who’s a teacher in Thailand. I usually contact him for my skincare, but right now someone has to take over $3,000, but I know people are going to get angry.”
Despite the size of the expenditure, Ava Peace said she does not expect men or anyone else to finance her beauty routine. She emphasized that she is comfortable spending her own money on maintaining her appearance.
The singer explained that she does not pressure anyone to contribute to her beauty expenses, saying it ultimately depends on an individual's willingness and financial ability.
“It’s only up to you to know that maybe I need it, but if you don’t do it, I won’t force you because they are mine. So it is very okay to use my money because at the end of the day, you’re the very person who’s going to be with your friends and be proud of my looks.”
