Kampala, Uganda – Pastor Franklin Mondo Mugisha has joined Pastor Sempa in publicly condemning the controversial stage entrance of local musician Alien Skin, which has been widely criticized for allegedly mocking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The incident, which occurred at Alien Skin’s recent concert, has sparked outrage among many religious leaders and churchgoers, with both pastors now demanding a public apology from the artist.

The controversial entrance featured Alien Skin making dramatic gestures and actions that many perceived as disrespectful to the religious significance of Christ’s crucifixion. Pastor Mondo, known for his outspoken views, took a strong stance against the act, warning both Alien Skin and the public not to mock God or the church in such a manner.
In an interview, Pastor Mondo demanded an apology within 24 hours, stating that failure to comply would prompt him and other church leaders to seek divine intervention, asking God to address the matter according to His will. Pastor Mondo also highlighted that Alien Skin is not the first public figure to mock God, citing the example of The Beatles, who faced backlash for controversial statements about religion.

Pastor Sempa, who had previously spoken out against Alien Skin’s actions, gave the singer seven days to issue a public apology, but Pastor Mondo’s demand for a quicker response underscores the gravity with which he views the matter. Both pastors have also expressed disappointment at the silence of many church leaders, particularly those in influential positions, who have not taken a public stance against the controversial act.
As the controversy unfolds, all eyes are on Alien Skin to see how he will respond to these escalating demands and the mounting pressure from religious figures and the public.
