In celebrations of independence the Faith of Unity In a remarkable convergence of faith , thousands of people have joined the Faith of Unity, of Omukama Ruhaga Owobusobozi Bisaka,during trips to Kayunga , Busia and Bugiri.
The trips, that have been organized by Faith of Unity believers in Kampala, Bukwenda ( Diocese), the districts visited by Owobusobozi Bisaka include Kayunga in Buganda , Busia and Bugiri in Eastern Uganda , where thousands of believers and non believers participated in the prayers, celebrations, and expressing gratitude to President Yoweri Museveni for his role in bringing peace to Uganda.
On Thursday , while giving his remarks, Omukama Ruhaga Owobusobozi Bisaka, the head and founder of the Faith of Unity, took the opportunity to thank President Museveni for recognizing the faith’s mission to end witchcraft in the country, highlighting the achievements registered by the Faith of Unity during the 44 years ago and praised the President for investigating and acknowledging the positive impact of their work.
President Museveni, in his efforts to eradicate witchcraft and night dancers in Uganda said, “Owobusobozi is doing an excellent job in promoting unity among Ugandans.”
However, Owobusobozi Bisaka expressed gratitude, stating, “It’s in Faith of Unity where we only rest three days in the month and spend the rest working, promoting the values of oneness and leaving behind time consuming religious practices.”
The four days event kicked off with a match in Busana town council of Kayunga with millions of people, believers, and non-believers joining Owobusobozi in a procession towards Namukuma itambiro ( worshiping place ).
In Kayunga the overwhelming turnup of people caused delays in accessing the venues due to the sheer number of participants seeking spiritual and physical healing from Omukama Ruhaga Owobusobozi Bisaka.
The local leaders were in attendance, showing their support to the Faith of Unity and acknowledging its positive impact on the community. Over 66 individuals in kayunga entered the itambiro (spiritual dedication) of Omukama Ruhaga Owobusobozi Bisaka.
The events also marked the 62nd independence of Uganda after Kayunga ,Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka visited Busia district where he gave out land to the community of Bujegwa to construct roads as 77 people joined the Faith.
They after headed to Bugiri town council were more 672 people joined the Faith of Unity including a one Benadite Namono who had spent 7 years suffering from backache and had visited various hospitals with no change, but ever since Owobusobozi Bisaka came to Bugiri, she has healed and claims to now move properly, Namono said.
