The President of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has revealed reasons why he doesn’t kiss his wife First Lady Mama Janet Museveni in public.
He said that he doesn’t even understand why Africans would behave like white people doing things that are not right.
In African society, it is not common for lovers to show romance to each other in public. Even the slightest thing like hugging and holding hands can very uncomfortable and seen as a bad thing.
According to President Museveni, kissing his wife publicly is like disrespecting his ancestors and the elders.
The president revealed that he might even never get any votes in Uganda for just an act that can be prevented.
“I don’t understand how Africans kiss in public. Me I know once I kiss my I will not get any votes to be a president again. I don’t even know how some people actually do it and think it’s even normal,”

It should be noted that in today’s era, different people show their lovers love on different ways. Most young people actually kiss while the others hug and hold hands. The old people still find it difficult but the others don’t care.
