This year’s journey, themed “Beauty with a Purpose,” is being held in partnership with Uganda’s leading sherry brand, V&A Sherry. The launch event, held on June 17 at the Oppein Experience Room in Kampala, brought together media personalities, brand partners, cultural influencers, distinguished guests, and the outgoing Miss Uganda queens. The evening was filled with anticipation and excitement as organizers unveiled what they describe as one of the most impactful editions of the competition in its 15-year history. The launch concluded with a symbolic group photograph featuring sponsors and partners holding a placard that officially marked the start of the Road to the Crown 2026 campaign.
A key highlight of the event was the renewed partnership between the Miss Uganda Foundation and V&A Sherry. Built on shared values of confidence, achievement, self-expression, and empowerment, the collaboration continues to provide a platform for young women to pursue leadership and community impact.
Guests enjoyed V&A Sherry’s signature hospitality, with the brand serving its premium sherry liqueur in a variety of styles, from classic neat serves to specially crafted cocktails including the V&A Sherrito, V&A Queen, and the popular Vangria. The experience reflected the brand’s commitment to celebrating life’s memorable milestones and achievements.
The evening also featured the formal presentation of the reigning Miss Uganda 2025, Trivia Elle Muhoza, alongside first runner-up Agatha Drakes Keine and the second runner-up. The trio expressed gratitude to sponsors and partners who have supported their journey over the past year.
“We are deeply grateful for the support our partners have given us,” said Muhoza, who is set to represent Uganda at the upcoming Miss World competition. “I won’t disappoint when I take to the global stage.”
