Etania Mutoni has asked girls to start respecting the money, however little, that men give them because they toil so hard to earn it.
In an interview with Sabrina Agasha on the ‘It’s Never That Serious’ podcast, Etania asked fellow females to learn to work hard for themselves to understand the value of money.
She noted that the gratitude for the little providence that they get from their partners and friends can only come from an understanding of the hustle their providers go through to earn the money.
Etania asked the females to change their mentality and also get their hands on work to be able to provide some things for themselves, rather than always waiting for help.
I know girls who have this mentality of: “If a man is not providing for me, he cannot tell me anything.” It’s because you’re broke, and you don’t know how to work for your own money. The day you learn to work for your own money, you will respect it. Even if someone gave you Shs50k, you would respect it.
But (because you don’t work for your own money, when a friend comes through and gives you some money, you will despise it because you don’t know the value of money. You don’t know what they had to sacrifice to get you that much because you haven’t worked for it.
Girls keep asking for millions from men, but do you have that money yourself?
