Renowned YouTuber Shalom Kaweesi has been released on bail after spending several weeks in custody over charges of cyber harassment.

Shalom was granted bail on TODAY by the Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court following a successful bail application. He had been arrested after Jennifer “Full Figure” Nakangubi lodged a complaint accusing him of cyber harassment.
Following his arrest, Shalom was remanded for a week as he awaited the hearing of his bail application. When he returned to court, the magistrate approved his release, allowing him to reunite with his family and spend the festive season at home.
The court’s decision comes shortly after Full Figure publicly stated that she was willing to forgive Shalom, explaining that she did not want him to remain in custody and be separated from his children during the holiday period.
Court granted Shalom a non-cash bail of Shs5 million, while each of his sureties was also bonded on a non-cash amount of Shs5 million.
Shalom is expected to return to court on February 3 at 9:30am as the case proceeds
