Ugandan singer Mansur Ssemanda, popularly known as King Saha, has reconciled with former presidential candidate Mubarak Munyagwa, bringing an end to months of public disagreements.
The two had previously fallen out after King Saha criticized Munyagwa’s decision to contest for Uganda’s presidency. The singer argued that the move could divide opposition support, which he believed should remain united behind National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine).
King Saha’s remarks sparked a heated public exchange between the two, with both personalities defending their respective positions.
However, the misunderstanding has now been resolved after what they described as a gentleman’s agreement. Their reconciliation signals a fresh start and reflects a willingness to put past differences behind them.
To mark the renewed friendship, King Saha personally invited Mubarak Munyagwa to attend his highly anticipated concert scheduled for August 14, 2026, at Lugogo Cricket Oval. Munyagwa accepted the invitation and pledged to support the event by purchasing a VIP table.
The reconciliation has been warmly welcomed by fans, many of whom praised the pair for choosing dialogue over conflict. Supporters have expressed hope that their renewed friendship will continue beyond the concert.
King Saha’s Lugogo concert is expected to attract thousands of music lovers and will feature performances of some of his biggest hits, making it one of the most anticipated entertainment events of the year.
