Ugandan singer Azawi has opened up about her love life, revealing that she does not believe social media platforms like TikTok are the right place to find a serious relationship.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, the Swangz Avenue star responded to questions from fans who were eager to know whether she is currently dating or seeing someone.
The singer clarified that she is still single and has not officially entered into a relationship, despite having a number of admirers.
“If you have not seen any soft launch from me, then there is nothing. Prospects are there, but we are still studying them,” Azawi said.
The Repeat It hitmaker explained that although there are people interested in her, she is taking her time before committing to anyone, choosing to wait for the right person.
Azawi also shared her belief that meaningful relationships are built through genuine, face-to-face interactions rather than online conversations.
“I cannot get a man from TikTok. There are so many babies here. A man that loves you finds you where you are, physically, in person,” she added.
Her comments have since sparked conversations among fans on social media, with many agreeing that authentic relationships are more likely to grow from real-life connections than from online platforms.
For now, Azawi says she remains focused on her music career while keeping an open mind about finding love when the right person comes along.
